Thrives in full sun to partly shaded positions. Tolerates heavy frost and moderately dry conditions. Suitable for most soil types, in more humid areas care should be taken to plant in well drained soils. Low maintenance once established. When planting ensure the crown or base of the plant is not planted below the soil level. Every couple of years prune back and fertilise. Don't mulch around the base of the plant.
