A small palm that produces dark green foliage with deeply divided leaves that appear from clustering bamboo-like stems, hence it is commonly known as the Bamboo Palm. An ideal container plant for indoors, or outdoors in a cool, moist position that is protected from the hot sun and drying winds. Prefers full shade, or indoors with indirect light exposure. Tolerates low levels of humidity and bright indirect light and is relatively low maintenance. During spring and summer, fertilize on a monthly basis. Ensure that enough water is provided based on the amount of light the plant receives.  Chamaedorea seifrizii can grow to a height of 3 ms and a width of 2 m.
