Dianella Breeze is a tidier form of Dianella caerulea, without the unattractive messy canes that descend over the plant. It is equipped with cascading dark green foliage and the occasional spray of delicate blue flowers in spring followed by an array of rich purple berries. Dianella caerulea Breeze tolerates a variety of situations including drought, windy and salt laden positions and heavy frost; growing well in full sun and moderate to heavy shade positions. Dianella Breeze is very fast growing. With the many characteristics as noted above, Dianella Breeze is perfect for erosion control, mass plantings and great as an under storey plant for both dense and light tree plantings. Its' underground root structure will fill gaps and will outperform against weeds, making it key to cover the border of paths and roads. Ideal for both commercial and domestic landscapes Breeze looks great mass planted. Dianella Breeze is waterwise. Regular watering is required for the first 2-3 months to establish the plant, however often further watering is not necessary unless set in sandy conditions. Dianella Breeze can tolerate excessive dry and wet conditions.
