The Obsidian White Knight is of interest even in winter. The unusual black stems are a nice contrast with other plants in the garden. In spring the amazing flower display commences a little later in the season with masses of the white mop top flower heads contrasting beautifully with the vibrant green foliage. White Knight is also an excellent cut flower and quite long-lived. Perfect for smaller gardens, patios and courtyards, as well as suitable for shady entertainment areas. The Obsidian collection is quite a vigorous grower and is frost hardy but can also withstand high temperatures. They are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance. Just a prune during winter and feed early spring or more often if grown in containers. Water regularly until established and it will then become quite dry-tolerant requiring occasional deep watering during hot dry periods.
