This particular variety, Aussie Boomer, is a small-growing, compact form that produces cherry red new growth and creamy white flowers during summer. Aussie Boomer is also fast growing in comparison to other species. Aussie Boomer is ideal for hedging, screening and topiary and can be grown in containers. Plant in a warm area, protected from frost and well-drained soil. Being native, this variety is well accustomed to Australia's diverse climate and soil conditions and once established will tolerate coastal and drought conditions. Water well until established and during extended hot periods. Prune to shape to encourage dense growth habits. Syzygium Aussie Boomer can grow to a height of 2 m and a width of 1.5 m.
