Katie bells is a very versatile glass plant that handles wet and dry seasons amicably. Most used in a rain garden for border planting, this plant has large foliage reaching up to 1.8 meters high and spreads in a 1.5-meter diameter. This plant also has the added benefit of strengthening the soil. Between September and October, this plant produces fragrant golden flowers and repeats annually.

Lomandra ‘LHBYF’ Katie Belles

    • Place in an area of Full Sun to Heavy Shade
      Mulch well after planting to retain moisture.

    • Plant in clay, sandy and loamy soil conditions with good drainage.
      Use a premium pot mix if planting in a container

    • Water as required for 8 to 13 weeks until established.

    • Fertilize once in spring with a slow-release fertilizer.

    • Every 3-7 Year, Cut back foliage to 30 cm above ground depending on the desired look

    • Plant is susceptible to fungal rot
