Nectarine Dwarf Sunset is an attractive small tree with beautiful red leaves which turn golden in Autumn. It has high density flowers and single pink blossoms in spring. Sweet white fleshed red skinned fruit appear mid-season and are ideal for eating fresh and for using in cooking. Dwarf Sunset is absolutely perfect for pots on the patio, balcony or deck. Prefers an open, sunny position with well-drained soil. For best results keep moist until established and mulch well to conserve soil moisture. Prune after harvest to manage branch growth and to prevent overcrowding. The plant can handle frost during winter, however, if you are in an area that is prone to late frosts you would be better suited to leave it in a protected environment until flowering has finished to ensure you get the best fruit returns. The Sunset Nectarine is 100% self fertile, which means NO pollinators are required to set fruit. Nectarine Dwarf Sunset will grow to a height of 1-1.5m and a width of 0.8m.
