Poinciana Tree (Delonix regia) is a beautiful tropical tree native to Madagascar. It produces striking orange-red flowers in summer which stand out from the fern-like foliage. It has brown woody seed pods that reach up to 60cm long and turn almost black when ripe.

As the tree grows, a broad umbrella-shaped crown develops, making it an ideal shade tree for your garden.
