Phoenix roebelenii is a small, extremely versatile palm with gorgeous, bright green foliage. Can be grown indoors or outdoors, this variety is very popular as a pot or tub specimen. Ideal uses are also landscaping in parks, gardens and around pools. Thrives in full sun to partly shaded position outdoors and will grow well in dry areas once established. To grow indoors, place in a well lit position and keep moist, drier in winter. Do not over water. Regular watering and application of fertiliser in the warmer months will enhance leaf colour and speed up growth. Phoenix roebelenii can reach a height of 2m and a width of 3.6-4.7m.
