The Slender Weavers Bamboo (Bambusa Gracilis) is native to China and East Asia. It has a classic bamboo look, with its straight, thin-walling habit and it's tendency to grow in a strong dense clump. The plant also grows very fast and requires very little foot space, and can be contained in an area with only 50cm wide if the situation requires it.

This plant is suitable as a landscape feature for large gardens with an oriental theme. It; is also useful as a screen against noise pollution with it's hollow.
