Tibouchina 'Carol lyn' is an evergreen shrub with large purple flowers and striking white stamens forming a white star in the center of the flower when fully opened. This Tibouchina flowers twice a year with sporadic flowering at other times of the year. Leaves are light green colour with tiny little hairs all over giving it a velvet appearance. Carol Lyn is an ideal specimen or screening plant for any protected garden. Carol Lyn will benefit from a light prune and fertilizer after flowering. Tibouchina 'Carol Lyn' will grow to 1.5m high x 1m wide.
