'Weeping Mulberry' forms long, pendulous branches that bow down to the ground. These branches are covered in large green, glossy leaves and during autumn they turn yellow-green. Morus alba 'Pendula' is a tough, standout tree suited to park and garden plantings and is often seen near shopping malls and avenue plantings. Plant Morus alba 'Pendula' in an area of full sun to part shade, with well-drained soils. Once established Weeping Mulberry tolerates a wide range of site conditions including dry and coastal areas. This Weeping Mulberry is waterwise, relatively low maintenance and will respond well to heavy pruning. Morus alba 'Pendula' is normally grafted just under 2m high and can grow to a height of 3 m and a width of 4 m.
